It was an amazing day...what really kept me going was the incredible sponsorship from so many friends, family and colleagues who all wanted to play their part in supporting our work here at Mentor.Michael O'Toole, Mentor Chief Executive (Royal Parks Half 2015)
Team Mentor has conquered the Great British 10k and the Royal Parks Foundation Half Marathon for three years running, to raise money and awareness for the important work we and our partners do.
Over the past three years, our challenge event participants raised more than £8,000 for Mentor. In 2018 we will again enter teams in both the British 10K London Run and the beautiful Royal Parks Half Marathon. There are still places left for both events – so if you fancy a challenge and would like to raise funds for a great cause then please get in touch with Nathalie for more details. Good luck!
Help us reach £10k by running a 10k!
The British 10k is often called “the world’s greatest road race route” and for good reason. The course weaves through the heart of London, running along the Embankment, past Big Ben, Trafalgar Square and Westminster Abbey.
This year’s run will take place at 9:30am on Sunday 15th July 2018.
We have six places available for anyone who wants to enter this event as part of Team Mentor.
We’re asking runners to raise a minimum of £250 each, and we can support your fundraising efforts along the way.
Why join Team Mentor?
The money you raise for Mentor enables us to deliver effective alcohol and drug prevention in more schools and communities, building more children and young people’s resilience and ensuring the future generation is equipped to thrive in the modern world.
As a Mentor runner, you will receive:
- guidance and help setting up your fundraising page on Virgin Money Giving;
- fundraising advice and materials to help you reach (and smash) your target;
- continued support throughout your training period;
