3 March 2017 | Mentor News

Are you 16-24 and care about making an impact in the lives of children and young people?

Join our Youth Panel!

Here at Mentor, we believe that in order to achieve our goal of providing quality alcohol and drug education at national level, we need to engage with those we want to help the most. This is why we want to make young people a key part of our process around promoting evidence-based prevention programmes and building resilience to the harmful risks of drug and alcohol misuse.

As part of our Youth Panel, you can empower other young people to make a positive impact in their communities.

Michael O'Toole, Mentor Chief Executive

If you become a member of our Youth Panel, you will have many exciting opportunities to support and enhance our work, including contributing to our strategic development; acting as advocates for policy change; supporting our fundraising efforts and helping us reach a wider network; representing Mentor at conferences, events and meetings; helping us engage with other young people through social media, and enhancing our communications efforts.

You will be ambassadors of Mentor’s work, supporting our goal of helping every child and young person build their skills and confidence to make informed, healthy decisions and stay safe.
