The Scottish Government has funded kinship care information, advice and support services for several years. During that time, there have been a number of changes for kinship care families across Scotland, which mean that their support needs may have changed too.

The Government therefore want to find out what it is that kinship care families need from a National Kinship Care Service. They have prepared two surveys – one for kinship carers and one for children and young people – to try and get a sense of what an ideal national service would look like for kinship care families in Scotland.

This is your chance to have a say in how the Government will shape kinship care support in the future!

Please use the links above and take a few moments to fill out this short survey, share it with other carers and encourage the children and young people you look after to complete their survey. By doing this, we can make sure that the funding that the Government provides for kinship care directly addresses the support needs of children and families in Scotland.

The closing date for both surveys is 17th June 2016.
